Bio

Amanda Castellano has worked as a part-time tutor and teaching assistant since 2018. She completed coursework in Orton-Gillingham remediation for dyslexia during 2021-2022, and a practicum with over 50 supervised hours of Orton-Gillingham tutoring. She is certified in Orton-Gillingham tutoring through Dyslexia Training Institute. She currently works with students of all ages on reading, writing, spelling, and math. She has experience working with high school students on college and scholarship essays, resumes, and general academics as an AVID tutor at North Clackamas School District. Amanda has taught her two children at home (grades 3-8). Amanda offers both Orton-Gillingham and general tutoring, including math through high school algebra. She is open to working with students of all ages, races, genders, backgrounds, and abilities. LGBTQ+ friendly. English as a Second Language students welcome.
